It’s my grand wowa Deng’s birthday today and my dad threw a small Chinese dinner for her honour! Mommy, Ate Andrea, Kuya Aaron, Manang Lucre, and Kuya Biggie savoured the small feast that we had and wished wowa Deng a happy and full of blessings birthday.

Wowa Deng, even you’re on the other half of the world our love for you remains the same. We hope you had a blast on your big day I love you!!!

Mom decided to have my hair trimmed today though I only have a little hair! She said that I always sweat profusely that’s why I always get irritated most of the time. So together with Manang Lucre, we headed to my mom’s fave salon, where she always go every week whenever she wants her nails done.

The salon was full of their patrons when we arrived so we waited for a while till it is our turn. Sitting on the high chair made me a little anxious on what the old lady will do to my hair. What if I suddenly move that she accidentally cut my ear or neck! Oh my! Oh my! But of course I trust my mommy, I know she will not let those horrible things to happen

Bong Heng was so nice to be very gentle on cutting my hair while I am behaving well on my chair. The hair tickled me for a while but I am more excited to see how I look so I try to divert my attention on other things. After 10 minutes, the cut is finished but my mom wasn’t able to take a photo because I am desperately asking for milk, don’t worry daddy Pong will be the one in charge for that

To sum up, I look hip with my boy cut hairstyle as it’s way shorter than what mom expected to become, nevertheless she liked it better so she need not to tie them up throughout the day peace mommy!

The weather is unbelievably hot these days and it’s giving me a very uncomfortable feeling. Because of it, I got colds and cough which lead to pneumonia as the pediatrician mentioned this morning at the clinic. Mom and dad were advised by the doctor to have me admitted for 48 hours but dad didn’t like the idea of me staying in the clinic plus the fact that they’re using the same medication that I’m already taking, the only difference is that they’ll give me more antibiotics which could be done at home. So, they’ve decided to make a thorough observation for 2 days while I am taking the prescribed medicines (that tastes horrible!) and if there will be no changes, I have to go back to my doctor and stay in the hospital for more observation.

I pray to God that He will guide me more and that He will take my colds and cough away. I don’t want mom and dad to worry much about me. I hope I will get well soon.

i am exactly 1 year 7 months now and there are so many things that changed, from the way i walk to the way i talk.

every morning when i wake up, i do my roll call routine – calling mommy, daddy, ate, eyon, and manang. i see to it that i mention their names just to check where they are. most of the time mom, ate, and eyon were already at school, so sometimes i don’t get a chance to say bye bye to them or even kiss them before they leave.

my mornings are always full of fun, though i am left with manang lucre, she sees to it that i get everything i need. i also love playing with daddy before he leaves for the office. now that i am bigger, i can do more things like annoying other kids especially when they don’t wanna play with me (i run after them and make them cry), mess my toys, play with cotton buds, wear bigger shoes and slippers, copy whatever my family says like “adik ka” hahaha, open the fridge and drink fresh milk straight from the carton (i see this from the teli), open the fridge and get whatever food i can eat, take mom’s pots and pans so i can play in the kitchen, sing in front of the electric fan, play with my toy gun and shoot everybody “beng!! patay”, welcome mommy and daddy when they get home (i normally offer a hand and help them with whatever they carry, nice girl ey!) and many many more!

when i take a bath, i always turn on the shower so that manang lucre will get wet and then she will get angry with me, i love it!!! you have to see her face whenever i tease her, hahaha! she’s really funny! sometimes when i don’t like the food, i try to run around so they will stop calling me to eat. my ate and kuya are my constant playmates and they are most of the time beaten by me, especially when playing DS. i have to be the first or else i will cry and mommy will be mad at them, so they always give way for me.

i think my journey in life is very exciting…i have wonderful mom and dad, fantastic siblings, and adorable nanny. with them my journey becomes easy to deal with…i may be naughty most of the times but that’s part of being a baby and i am taking advantage of it i know and i am sure that sooner or later mom and dad will give me a good disciplining if i behave inappropriately. for now all i have to do is enjoy being a baby!!!
